Pickup winding at TMG was born from the desire to shape the sonic output of my guitars at the electronics level. I would wind a pickup and document the details: bobbin, wire thickness and insulation, tension, base plate material, magnet type, DC resistance and Henries, and install each model in my pickup mule for testing. Through a whole bunch of design tweaks and development, I have what I consider a solid group of products to offer.
